Propane Insider · AI Visibility Audit
AI already names a propane company in your county.
When AI names someone else, the call never rings. Find out whether it’s you — and exactly what to fix if it isn’t.
Free. About 60 seconds. No call required.
What AI search sees
Two propane companies, same county. One carries the seven signals AI reads. The other doesn’t. Only one is more likely to be named in the answer.
Company A
- Organization schema
- LocalBusiness
- Declared service area
- 35-mile GeoCircle
- sameAs profiles
- Matching NAP
- Crawlers allowed
More likely to be named
Company B
- No schema
- No service area
- No radius
- Crawlers blocked
Less likely to be named
The seven signals: Organization schema, LocalBusiness, a declared service area, a 35-mile GeoCircle, sameAs profiles, matching name-address-phone, and crawler access.
AI visibility figures are a representative sample via web search, not a direct measurement. Engine labels share one web-search reading.

A real check, not a guess.
A real result, not a mockup
We ran our own free tool on our own company — Tank Spotter — so you can see exactly what a result looks like before you enter your own site.

Real audit result for TankSpotter, run August 13, 2026. AI visibility figures are a representative sample via web search, not a direct measurement. Engine labels share one web-search reading.
Adjacent ZIPs can sit on opposite sides of your radius line. AI only knows the towns your site actually declares.
Frequently asked questions
A01What does this actually check?
Seven entity signals on your own website: whether you have Organization schema, LocalBusiness schema, a declared service area, a GeoCircle at your delivery radius, a sameAs profile network, a name-address-phone that matches your canonical listing, and whether AI crawlers are allowed to read you at all. For every signal you’re missing, you get the exact code to paste — not a suggestion to "improve your SEO."
A02Is it really free, and what do you want from me?
It’s free. Company and ZIP are all it takes to see your results — website and email are optional. No email required to see what we found. About 60 seconds, no call required.
A03Do you check ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Copilot separately?
No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Our engine labels share one web-search reading — five labels are not five independent measurements. Every figure we show says so, in the same view as the number. AI visibility figures are a representative sample via web search, not a direct measurement. Engine labels share one web-search reading.
A04Do I get a score or a grade?
No grade. You get a list of what AI can read on your site, what it can’t, and the fixes that close each gap. A number on its own doesn’t tell you what to do Monday morning.
A05Will this rank me against other propane companies?
No. There’s no leaderboard, no market-share figure, and no ranking against another company by name. The report is about your own site’s signals and what to fix on them.
A06Why did the audit find so little on my site?
Because of how it reads. The audit reads the raw HTML your server returns, without running JavaScript. Some AI crawlers read a page exactly that way; others do run JavaScript first. If your site builds itself in the browser, a crawler that doesn’t run JavaScript sees close to an empty page — and that alone is worth knowing.
A07Do I need a website person to fix any of this?
Most of the fixes are a block of code pasted into your site’s <head>. We hand you the block, already filled in with your details. If your site is locked down or built on a platform you don’t control, forward the block to whoever runs it. It’s a copy-paste, not a rebuild.
A08What about my service area? I don’t deliver everywhere.
That’s the point of the GeoCircle signal. It tells AI the real radius you run from your bulk plant — commonly 30 to 35 miles — instead of leaving it to guess. Declare the area you actually serve, not the one you wish you served; over-claiming costs you quotes you can’t fill.
A09Is a propane company like mine even the point of this?
Yes. It’s built for propane delivery companies in the United States and nothing else. The signals, the radius, and the questions behind it are propane questions.
How we measure: AI visibility figures are a representative sample via web search, not a direct measurement. Engine labels share one web-search reading. These figures are a snapshot to help you see where AI search stands today — not a guarantee of placement.
