Upon receiving the emergency call, dedicated IOPFD crews promptly arrived at The Palms Hotel at the Isle of Palms beach front, where a propane gas leak was reported. Authorities confirmed that one out of the three propane tanks on site had developed a leak.
In adherence to their rigorous safety protocols, the hotel was promptly evacuated to ensure the well-being of all individuals on the premises.
