Superior Energy Systems Achieves Milestone: Over 100 Million Gallons Pumped by PRO-Vend 2000 Propane Autogas Dispensers

CLEVELAND, Sept. 12, 2023 — Superior Energy Systems, a renowned leader in propane midstream and autogas installations across the nation, proudly announces a significant milestone, with over 100 million gallons of fuel pumped through its cutting-edge PRO-Vend 2000 propane autogas dispensers. This achievement marks a remarkable advancement in the propane autogas industry, highlighting Superior Energy Systems’ commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Propane autogas is the industry term for propane utilized in in-vehicle applications, including school buses, transit, paratransit vehicles, and Class 3-7 fleet trucks. Superior Energy Systems’ PRO-Vend 2000 propane autogas dispensers have played a pivotal role in promoting the adoption of this eco-friendly fuel source.

The PRO-Vend 2000 dispensers feature a secure, cloud-based fuel management system that seamlessly connects to the company’s proprietary network. This network encompasses over 380 dispensers across the United States and Canada, allowing for the precise tracking of aggregated gallons pumped. It’s worth noting that an additional thousand Superior autogas dispensers throughout North America operate independently of the network, resulting in millions of extra gallons dispensed.

Derek Rimko, Vice President of Operations, expressed pride in this achievement, stating, “Nearly a decade ago, Superior Energy Systems introduced the groundbreaking PRO-Vend 2000 propane autogas dispenser, a product we believed would revolutionize the industry. This innovation paved the way for further additions to the PRO-Vend line, catering to the needs of diverse propane autogas fleets, complete with advanced fleet management software. Surpassing the one hundred million gallons milestone through our proprietary cloud-based network signifies that we have achieved our objectives.”

Each PRO-Vend 2000 dispenser empowers fleet customers with easy tracking capabilities, including driver identification, gallons pumped, and vehicle mileage. Furthermore, these units can generate standard reports without additional technology installations. The self-contained, user-friendly touchscreen system simplifies refueling, enabling drivers to refuel using a key fob or access number effortlessly.

These turnkey units are designed with ultra-low emission fuel nozzles and adhere to the stringent standards set forth by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). They also meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards, enabling seamless integration into existing fuel islands alongside conventional gasoline and diesel dispensers. PRO-Vend units hold National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) certification and are endorsed by the Canadian National Conference of Weights and Measures.

John Hutchison, Director of Operations for Prism Propane in North Baltimore, Ohio, emphasized the value of PRO-Vend dispensers, stating, “One hundred million gallons of propane autogas pumped is a tremendous accomplishment for Superior Energy Systems, and we are pleased to play a role in that accomplishment. The ability of its PRO-Vend dispensers to track gallons pumped via its web-based fuel management system is a substantial help for our customers in managing both budgets and drivers.”

Superior Energy Systems’ achievement of surpassing 100 million gallons pumped through PRO-Vend 2000 propane autogas dispensers underscores its commitment to advancing sustainable fuel solutions and fostering a greener future for transportation.
